2. In-App / Website Account Deletion Option

BookMyCall provides a direct “Delete Account” option inside the Profile section of both:

• 📱 Mobile Application
• 🌐 Website

How it works:

• The user can go to Profile → Delete Account
• Upon confirmation, the user’s account and personal data are permanently deleted
• No separate email request is required in this case

This process is instant and user-controlled.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When a user deletes their account using the in-app or web option, the following data is permanently deleted or anonymized:

• Name, mobile number, and email address
• User profile details
• Service requests and booking history (where legally permissible)
• Communication and interaction records

4. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period only if required by law, including:

• Transaction and payment records
• Tax, audit, or legal compliance data
• Fraud prevention and security logs

Such retained data is securely stored and not used for marketing or profiling purposes.

5. Alternate Deletion Request (Email)

If a user is unable to access their account, they may request data deletion via email:

Steps:

1. Send an email from the registered email address or mobile number
2. Subject: “Data Deletion Request – BookMyCall”
3. Mention:
• Registered mobile number or email
• User role (Customer / Service Provider)

6. Verification Process

For security purposes, BookMyCall may verify the user’s identity before processing deletion requests made via email.

7. Processing Timeline

• In-app / website account deletion: Immediate
• Email-based deletion requests: 7–14 business days after verification

8. Impact of Data Deletion

Once deleted:

• The user account is permanently removed
• Access to services is disabled
• Deleted data cannot be recovered under any circumstances

BookMyCall reserves the right to update this Data Deletion Policy at any time.
